Breast Screening Visits for Our Community
Breast Screening Visit – 20 November
On 20 November, we had the pleasure of accompanying a wonderful group of women from our community to Breast Screen Victoria for routine breast cancer screening. For many, this was their first screening, making it a particularly important step in taking care of their health.
We travelled together by taxi to the clinic and back, ensuring comfort and safety for everyone. Regular breast screening every two years is crucial, as it can detect breast changes early even before any symptoms appear greatly increasing the chances of successful treatment.
This initiative is especially valuable for women who are new to Australia and have never had a breast screening. Providing guidance, support, and a safe environment helps them take this vital step in preventive healthcare.
We are excited to announce that another group will be attending Breast Screen Victoria on 4 December, continuing our commitment to raising awareness, supporting women, and promoting better health in our community.
Together, we stand for women’s health, empowerment, and early detection.
